Dedicated to a Revolution in Biological Theory The Unknown Potential
Without a doubt, the Universe is far more mysterious than the material view of science suggests. When one attempts to explain the multidimensional phenomena of life and the mind within the existing material framework of conventional science, one finds the framework is hopeless inadequate. When looks at the behaviors of one-celled life, one finds clear evidence of the conscious mind endowed with choice, perception, and memory. If these behaviors are not produced simply by molecular motion, one is led to the conclusion that the conscious mind is a nonphysical force that directs the motion of matter. This suggest the physical world of energy-matter is immersed in a vast dimension of conscious intelligence. How does this affect us personally? For those with spiritual beliefs, the existence of God becomes a matter of fact, not just a belief. One may gain the sense that there is a greater meaning or plan to Universe in which we all participate. But it is not science's duty to consider how this force relates to the human condition. This is the realm of theologians and spiritual teachers. One's personal connection the nonphysical realm is a matter of individual experience and belief. The nonphysical nature of the mind presents the mystifying possibility that the conscious experience is not confined to the material structures of the brains. Our memories of past events do not reside in the brain, they reside in the modern physicist's "thickness" of time. In total, all memory of the past exists stretched out through "block time." Emotional memories exist in recall of traveling in time to the actual previous experience. Memories are not erased from our brains like pages worn away from a book. Instead, we loose access to those pages. But if some event triggers recall of the pages, they are still there. As with instinctive memory, we gain access to knowledge that we do not learn. It is likely that, to varying degrees, we have nonphysical access to the feelings of people that are close to us. In line with Carl Jung's theory of collective consciousness, people are influenced by collective memory of a society akin to how an animal species' instinctive memory resides in block time. And on a spooky level, we potentially have access to other's thoughts and memories, be they people that are living or dead. The modern world stands at the threshold of a vast, mysterious, unexplored dimension. However one wishes to term it, we face the dimension of the conscious Mind, God, and Absolute Being. Acceptance of this dimension opens to a strange, mystical reality that conventional science has denied. And once science comes to embrace this fact, the self-perceptions of the modern world will be inalterably changed.
